“By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me.” Ps.42
God is with me whether I sense Him or not. It is better, of course, if I wake to His presence; but even if I do not, He is always there and with purpose. He is Lord of the day when all is bright and clear. He is Lord of the night also when all is dark and I cannot see the way. Sometimes, all we have is a song to sing to remind us that He is there.
