Most of us have learned to live with our inconsistencies and, without too much stress. My problem is living with a God who is absolutely consistent. He never changes. Why would an absolutely good and perfect being have any reason to do so. He is always right, never compromising. He is that perfect standard against which we always fall short. And, while His perfect consistency is convicting it is also strangely comforting.
