Some of my best moments with God have been without words. Nothing is said because nothing needs to be said. Such times are precious to me. The shared moment and its silent communion is itself the richest communication. There is a knowing, a joining of my heart to His, where a whole conversation takes place in a single joined experience. It may be a shared joy or sorrow; there is even laughter, but I sense in these moments that God and I are on the same page and I catch a glimpse of Heaven’s reality.
