“Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted.” Ps.10.12
If we pray that God would not forget the afflicted, then let us not forget them. If we ask God to remember those less fortunate than we, then let us remember them also. Let us do all that is in our power to do. This may mean that we share our money; our time, our influence but whatever it means, let us give meaning to it. And, let us do it as a manner of living not just during the Christmas season. It may just be that God is remembering the poor, the afflicted, and the oppressed when we remember them. 3/2/2009 Conversations Within ts
