“I am poured out like water.” Ps.22.14 ESV
Love is said to be the greatest of virtues, but especially when it is expressed in sacrifice. We appreciate the gift that is given out of bounty, but it doesn’t match the patina of the gift where someone surrenders apart of themselves to give it. It is when love requires personal casualty that we see it in its greatest glory. Just as nature is beautiful year round but more so in the bloom of spring, love is always a beautiful thing, but nothing compares to love in the bloom of sacrifice for another. 3/17/2009 Conversations Within ts
