The child wants an explanation for everything; the adult knows that some things will never be explained, or at least we should. This doesn’t mean that life’s mysteries do not bother us from time to time. When they do, it is usually because some tragedy has struck close to home and trying to understand the why behind the what it is like trying to touch bottom when the water is simply too deep. Being persuaded of God’s goodness serves us during such times. Faith in God’s goodness helps us to have faith in God’s wisdom. Better to swim in the ocean of God’s grace than drown trying figure out the depths of His wisdom. 5/17/010 Conversations Within ts
