“And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.” Jo.17 ESV
Jesus is always encouraging His disciples to ask for anything that grows out of His words living in us. It is not surprising then to find that when He camped here, the Lord practiced this Himself. When His appointed hour came, Jesus asked His Father to validate His claims so that He might accomplish the task that grew out of His Father’s words living in Him. He prayed that after His death that He be resurrected and restored to His former glory.
Whenever the words of Christ live in us, whatever we need to express them is but a prayer away. Jesus promised that the Father will give us everything needed not when we ask for anything but for anything that comes from the words of His Son working in us. The promise of Jesus that He will give us whatever we ask in His name may be compared to a personal business account, the sole purpose of which is to provide us what is needed to conduct the company’s business. 5/10/010 Conversations Within ts
