Love doesn't keep score. This does not mean that when we love someone we are naïve about past injuries. We simply choose to overlook them. Love will return kindness in the face of cruelty. Even when it is angry and for just reasons, love will still act in a manner that reflects goodness. This is because love is unconditional.
