Just me trying to be honest with God.

“To overcome difficulties is to experience the full delight of existence.” Arthur Schopenhauer

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.” James 1

Everybody could take a chapter out of the life of Helen Keller, or Bethany Hamilton or thousands of other people and learn the value of seeing obstacles as opportunities to experience personal growth. Such sight comes in part by trusting that God has allowed , maybe even caused our present trial, not to harm us but to lead us higher up the slopes of a remarkable life. Why would any of us want a remarkable life? Well for the praise of God's glory working in us for one thing, not to mention the personal benefit it brings to our own character.
