Lust is a prison of selfish pursuits. Lust would have us take--even steal--pleasures without restraint or responsibility. Like fire, it desires only to consume and, like fire, lust never has enough. On the other hand, love finds its pleasure in giving rather than taking. But love, in its giving, always receives and something even greater than pleasure. Joy is the lasting reward of love.
