“I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.” Ps.16 If I really believe that God’s love for me is without limit and His ability to watch over me has no bounds, then what do I have to fear? I believe both of these things yet I often lose my focus, especially in a crisis. When this happens fear steals the joy in my heart. The key then is to set the Lord always before me-- to take my focus off of my circumstances and fix my hope entirely on His love and power. Reviewing His promises helps with this.
