“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” Plato

“Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.” John3
The lies we tell ourself are the easiest to believe. How skillful we are at making excuses for things we should purge from our lives. If I am honest with myself, my pride would rather I coddle and comfort my shortcomings, warming my self by the fire of “I’m only human” than by the fire of “I can do better.” Conversations Within ts 10/4/2012 (Watson Mill, GA)
