The richest Christian witness isn’t so much when we try to be a witness as it is when the life of Jesus in us has transformed us into one. The best kind of witness isn’t advertised in sermons or slogans, in fact it isn’t an advertisement at all. God does not need us to sell Him, sadly, we often sound like we are. The quality of contributions we make in the lives of others, those that grow out of our love for the Father, a love worked in us by Christ is its own attraction. If by loving God I become a better husband, father, friend, and worker, these things give testimony of the value of inviting Jesus into my heart.
