David prayed that God would keep him from presumptuous sins, and we are cautioned a number of time about making presumptions about tomorrow when we don’t even know what is coming our way in the next half hour. Jesus also encouraged us to not worry about tomorrow. And though we should not make presumptions about tomorrow but we certainly may make presumptions about God’s promises to us for it. We may not know what is coming in the next half hour, but every child of God may safely assume that Father has made provision for it. 2/2/2009 ts
