“But I say to you…” Mt.5.22
These words of Jesus echo often in the halls of self-justification. He gently but soberly corrects our misunderstanding of how good we think we are. We may believe that we are basically good people but Christ knows better. He explains that though we may not have murdered, violence boils in the caldron of our thoughts. But love His admonishments for the Son does not come to condemn us, He is only showing us our need of His offered grace. 11/24/2009 Conversations Within ts
