It is often easier to see the path to peace when you are a third party than to see it when you are a member of first party. It is even easier to point out peaceful steps in the second person such as “you should, you need, you might try,” than it is in the first person, “I should, I need or I might try.” But it is only when we attend to peace in the first person that we are able to make peace in the second. And, it just may be that modeling peace is not only the best approach to assist others, it might be the only approach that will help at all. 11/7/2009 Conversations Within ts
