The whole of life is opportunity to choose our response to trial and suffering. Life always comes to us in the little choices. This makes it possible for choice not circumstance to determine what we embrace with our heart. Because of this, we may bitterly or joyfully walk life’s twists and turns. The apostle assured us that all who name Christ would suffer persecution. And, when persecution comes, we always have before us the power to rejoice and be in the company of the glad or to complain and be in the company of the sad. 11/9/2009 Conversations Within ts
