I remember nights when my dad would come in from patrolling Alabama’s highways; he would always shine his flashlight into my room to see if everything was safe and secure. The light would hit me in the eyes and I would be temporally blinded by it. Sometimes well meaning Christians shine the light of faith in such a way that it blinds the unbelieving to the truth rather than helping them to see it. Instead of shining the light in someone’s eyes, we might try letting our good works shine forth God’s glory. 11/16/2009 Conversations Within ts
