I feel confident that grace is given to us for every circumstance. The question is do we appropriate it. There must be moments where grace is given to us and whether we receive it or not, we have its benefit. An example may be God protecting us from some danger we do not know about. But there also must be moments when God gives us grace and if we don’t take advantage of it, we miss its benefit. Perhaps He gives us grace to hold our tongue in an argument but we refuse it, lash out, and escalate the conflict. Give us an eye for Your grace Lord, to lay hold of it throughout each day and glory in Your goodness. 10/10/2009 Conversations Within ts
