Religions divide the world; set the nations at odds against each other and for that reason some would do away with them. It is foolish to think that this could be done, at least by any human endeavor. When peace finally comes to the world, it will be a spiritual work brought about by the Spirit of God. It has been said that Christ did not come to establish Christendom, at least Christendom as it is portrayed in the world. Such is the work of man not God. The Lord commanded that no cut stones be used to build His altar and we may be sure that no mark of human accomplishment will be seen on the building of God.
