Have you every told some one to be good or has someone ever encouraged you to be. I think it both a wish and an encouragement when someone tells us to be good. It is desirable for good to come to us and at the same time that we would bring good to others. Jesus teaches us that the two are related. Good certainly comes to those who are good and good to others. The virtuous life is the life that brings benefit to those around it, not those silly religious notions of abstaining from this or that. 9/30/2009 Conversations Within ts
