“looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God.” 2Pt.3.12 NJKV
These words tell us that we may not only look for Christ to return but that our holy conduct, may actually hasten His coming. How so? I mean if the Father already knows the date He has assigned for the Son to return, is there really anything we can do to hasten it. Well certainly, if the date that God has assigned is not so much a circle drawn on a calendar, as it is when the task He has assigned to the Church is complete. And what task is that?
