Who would choose something of less value over something of greater value? Actually, we all do and do it everyday. People choose poor eating and exercising habits over health. Many choose selfish pursuits over family or materialism over spiritual maturity. Imagine life where every choice was determined by a singular commitment to excellence. Such a life would never approve any activity that would weaken one’s love of God or family.
