“I am convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God...” Rom.8
I suppose in the present order of things, change is inevitable. But God is not subject to the rules of our fallen world and though things constantly change around us, one thing remains certain and unchanging and that is His abiding love. This is at least the Christian view of God. Whatever changes are in store for us in this place, His Spirit seeks to persuade us, if we will let Him, that nothing is able to separate us from His beneficial actions. This remains true even if we resist these gentle persuasions, but unpersuaded, we will be as little children afraid of the dark when there is really nothing to fear. 1/31/2011 Conversations Within ts (Gunterhill, AL)
