Not every interaction with God is pleasant. I know this from reading the Bible and I have had my own share of unpleasant experiences with Him. Sometimes, and for good reason, He sternly rebukes, and warns us about the dangers of our disobedience. It is sad but we can be rather hardheaded at times and a good wop on the head is about the only way Father can get our attention. God disciplines because God loves. I have never once received a spanking where the Holy Spirit did not first give me a warning. 4/22/2009 Conversations Within ts
