“beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King.” Ps.48.2 ESV
What do people see when they consider our faith in Christ? Are we beautiful in elevation; are we the joy of the all the earth? Do our neighbors say, ”There lives one of the happiest people I know; you never see them without kindness in their eyes and a song on their lips.” Are we a city set on a hill, not trying to be mind you, but are we like a majestic mountain with refreshing streams flowing from down from our worship? Are we a beauty to behold; always patient in suffering, always forgiving when wronged? Are we the blessed and as such, always a blessing? May the King of Glory live in our hearts so that the entire world may know the beauty of God in the face of Christ and the face Christ in our own. 4/20/2009 Conversations Within ts
