“Don't find fault. Find a remedy.” Henry Ford

“Don't find fault. Find a remedy.” Henry Ford

“He... began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.” John 13

In one corner Judas was planning to betray Jesus, in the other, the disciples were arguing about which one of them would be the greatest in the kingdom. Instead of joining the fray with fault finding words, Jesus humbly showed them the solution to their selfishness. He washed their feet. I think it would be safe to say that God is pleased when we give our energy to fixing faults rather than pointing them out. The adage, “Don't be a part of the problem but a part of the solution,” is never more true than it is in personal interaction. If something needs fixing, quietly fix it, don't talk about it. 5/12/2011 Conversations Within ts (Oak Mountain, AL)
