Few would deny the wearisome nature of work. Surely by creative design, God intended that we enjoy our labors but once our selfishness entered the picture work became work. Jesus would change this in us if we will let Him. We may still have to work by the sweat of our brow but love quietly turns duty into delight and wearisome toil into fruitful purpose. One way He does this is telling us to offer our responsibilities and relationships to Him and having done so, every service rendered to others is then a service rendered to Him. How does this transform work? By turning it into worship which transforms the focus of our gaze toward God and away from our petty complaints. 5/24/2011 Conversations Within ts (Gunterhill, AL)
