“Well done is better than well said.” Benjamin Franklin

“For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.” 1Co.4 ESV

When you are a writer, well done and well said may very well be one and the same. This is also true for a teacher or any number of occupations where communication is the principle service. But even where words are necessary, it is not the words themselves that have power but the word, if I dare say it, “made flesh,” that is effectual. Words may inspire action, even give direction to it, but it is action that accomplishes things. Words may ignite the powder of passion but it is the bullet of expressed love that hits the mark.
