“Just do it!” is so much more than an ad for Nike. It is the best approach to a productive life. It is amazing how every unfinished task drains our emotional energy. This is particularly true of tasks we dread doing; mine is paper work of any kind. The truth is that it actually drains more energy to put things off than if we just did it. It has been suggested that one way to keep tasks from piling up is to keep one simple rule. “Handle something once.” It is often better to wash my dish when I get up from the table than to put it in the sink to wash later. 5/17/2011 Conversations Within ts (Oak Mountain, AL)
