“Praise him with tambourine and dance;” Ps.150 ESV
Strange that the German philosopher who wrote that “God is dead,” would write such a fitting description of those dancing the dance of faith and being scrutinized by spectators who have none. I am sure he did not have this in mind when He penned these words. Truly, to love Christ is a dance of faith and it is the music of God that has quickened it in those who believe. Those who do not have faith do not understand why we dance to music they cannot hear. And, if this is a proper notion, as many passages in the Bible assert that it is, you cannot argue the existence of this music to those who are deaf to it. God must heal their ears. Of course they believe that we are the ones that need to be healed by believing in modern science. No amount of reasoning will convince one or the other.
