“Be a fountain, not a drain.” Rex Hudler

“When I became a man I gave up childish ways.” 1Cor.13 ESV

The great disease of mankind is selfishness. Imagine how many husband-wife, parent-child, neighbor even enemy relationships would be transformed into something beautiful if we could set aside the stumbling blocks of selfish decisions. Jesus taught us to pursue that world where every person pledges his life for the good of every other person; to understand that life is more than just selfish pursuits but a grand adventure of love. Here is joy, to rise above a self-centered and selfish life and devote yourself to aggressively love others. The practical applications of such a life are staggering especially when applied to the next person I meet, be it spouse, son, neighbor or enemy. 7/11/2011 Conversations Within ts (Amelia Island, FL)
