Just me trying to be honest with God.

The most influential people in my life are probably not even aware of the things they've taught me.” Scott Adams

“Yes, establish the work of our hands.” Ps.90.17 NKJV

One humbling view of life is expressed in these poetic words: “Take a bucket and fill it with water, Put your hand in it up to the wrist, Pull it out and the hole that's remaining Is a measure of how you will be missed.” I guess this is one way of looking at our impact in life. But put salt in that same hand and when removed the water will be changed--maybe not to the eye (fame), but certainly to the taste (fruit). Jesus does not call us to be famous but fruitful. He also said that we are the salt of the earth and His presence in us, if released, is sure to change the lives around us. Those who seek fame will be as the hand removed from the water. Those who seek to serve as the salt that is left behind. 6/9/2009 Conversations Within ts
