In the Bible, Egypt is used to describe life outside of Christ; Zion is used as a metonym of living in Him. Zion is the spiritual name for Jerusalem, the city of the Great King. Zion is said to be beautiful in situation. To live within His gates is to have the lines drawn for you in pleasant places. What better situation could we find ourselves than to be in the favor of God and to be Christ is to have that favor. Rejoice in it! 6/6/2009 Conversations Within ts
