“The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man.” Ps.115.16 NIV
To believe that God has given the earth to man explains a lot. Our mismanagement has produced a great deal of human suffering and even the animals and the environment groan. And, in keeping with our irresponsible behavior, many have sought to blame God for the many things wrong in our world. Did He not make it abundantly clear from day one that we our responsible for the choices we make. It is not surprising then to hear us rant against judgment. Abraham Lincoln once commented, “He reminds me of the man who murdered both his parents, and then when sentence was about to be pronounced pleaded for mercy on the grounds that he was an orphan.” 7/9/2009 Conversations Within ts
