It is generally considered wise to keep an open mind but the Spirit often calls us to walk the narrow way. This is one meaning of the Hebrew word for “heed.” Now this is not to deny the value of trying to be objective but once objectivity has led you to the truth, it is wise to hold to it. We might say that it is good the keep and open mind except when it is better to dismiss distractions, which keep us from walking in His truth. 6/30/2009 Conversations Within ts
