“O LORD, what is man that you regard him, or the son of man that you think of him?” Ps.144.3

These words are recorded in no less than four distinct passages in the Scriptures. They summarize at least two profound themes of the Bible. One is found in the question being asked the other in its answer. The question bespeaks our utter insignificance because of sin and the answer of God’s great glory expressed in His grace. I believe that most people can relate to the question as to why God would have a single caring thought for contemptible fallen humans. But the evidence is radically clear, He does. We see this best of course in Jesus who by the way identified Himself as the Son of Man. 8/13/2009 Conversations Within ts
