How do we bless someone who is the source of all blessing? How is it possible for mere humans to bless the Lord? Two things come to mind. One is that when we are encouraged to bless the Lord we are being told this for our benefit. The encouragement is to look upon God as the source of all blessing, to cherish Him as no other and to seek Him above all other treasures. The second thing that comes to mind is that when we live this way, the Lord is truly blessed by us. God has made it possible for me to give Him the gift of me.
