There are times when it is best to remain where you are, just as there are times to abandon ship. The question that often plagues us is when to do which. Do I quit my job? Do trade cars? Do I pull the plug on a failed marriage? Sometimes the Bible give clear direction, sometimes it only provides us guidelines. When looking for advise we need to be careful of people who twist God’s clear direction into mere suggestion. We also need to be wary of people who turn guidelines into hard fast law. Knowing when to do what is often a wisdom question and where wisdom is concerned, we are given clear direction. Ask!
