“Human life is purely a matter of deciding what's important to you.” Anonymous

"Which commandment is the most important of all?" Mk.12 ESV

A good many people would agree with Jesus that loving God and loving your neighbor are the most important tasks in life. But it is deciding to do this every moment that makes it real. There is little value in saying these two commandments are primary but then allow lesser concerns to rob our energy and make them secondary. Slow leaks can drain large things. I can add so many things to my schedule that have nothing to do with loving God or loving people that I wind up with no time and no energy to do either of them. If first things aren't deliberately kept first they are easily bumped by things which have little or no value at all. 12/13/2010 Conversations Within ts (Oak Mountain AL)
