The birth of Jesus is unique in many respects. He wasn't just born as all people are, He was born “unto you.” This is just another way of saying that He was born into the world for you and me. He was born for our advantage. His birth is the declaration that God is in the world forgiving our transgressions and offering peace to every man, woman and child. Unto you a child is born. Unto you a son is given. He comes into the world that we might come into the joy of the Most High. He was born that we might be born again. His birthday in history can be our birthday in glory.
