My doctor friend is fond of saying that pain is good, that pain is your friend. It certainly can be in this place where we need pain for lessons in living. Pain teaches us something is wrong and needs healing. Of course chronic pain of any kind is not good, it is a sign that something cannot be healed. The day approaches where there will be no lessons left to be learned, the school of life will be over, we will have graduated to that place where pain is no more, or where pain is eternally chronic. Our healing will be complete or no further healing will be possible. Isn't that what we mean when we call something heaven or call it hell? 1/12/2011 Conversations Within ts (Madison, MS)
