“And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.” Kahlil Gibran

“And all the beasts of the field play there. ” Job 40

Surely if God takes pleasure in the play of animals in the field He delights in our own enjoyment of it. God made us for life outdoors. Play outside everyday. Walk barefoot in the grass, wade in a stream, skip rocks in a pond or climb a tree. Do not forget that life is more than work, that God commands rest and refreshment. Be refreshed then and experience the renewal of time outside. Rise to watch the sunrise, take time to see it set. Lie on your back and connect the stars or watch leaves come in for a landing. If you would please God, do not forget how to play in the fields of the Lord. Conversations Within ts 4/11/2012 (Jax)
