“Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof.” Kahlil Gibran

“He was...fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.“ Romans 4

I believe my faith in Christ is reasonable. What I am saying is that I have good reasons for believing what I believe. But there are issues that I face each day where God requires me to trust Him even when I do not understand what He is asking me to do. One that I face regularly is in my prayers for people. It does not seem reasonable to ask God to do something that I think He is already doing—what any good parent would be doing. But, He does. I think every issue which demands faith “beyond the reach of proof” rests in the simple words of Abraham, “Will not the Judge of the earth do what is right.” Conversations Within ts 4/10/2012 (Jax)
