“I am the light of the world!” Jesus
It is pure grace how the wonder of Christmas splashes its joy even on people who have never put personal faith in Christ. As the song says without ever mentioning His name, “Its the most wonderful time of the year.” People can't help tapping their toes when they hear good music and the melody of Jesus fills the world every Christmas season. We date our calendars around Him, His birthday is the world's most celebrated holiday. Jesus has left His mark on the world by giving us a season of gift giving, charity, lights and carols. People may try and take Christ out of Christmas but every celebration of family life, loving your enemies, sharing presents and hanging lights is unquestionably what He taught us to do. His influence is the fragrance of love. Trying to take Christ out of Christmas is trying to spell Christmas without the word Christ. 12/13/11 Conversations Within ts (Jacksonville , FL)
