“Love bears all things.” 1Cor.13
Love is a commitment to seek the highest good of the people in our lives. This means that we must often be tenacious at it. I do not mean this in a pestering sort of way, but a patient one. Love bears all things, it puts up with a great deal in order to act in someones best interest. Love will suffer abuse, insult, even persecution if these things are necessary to benefit the ones we are seeking to love. Jesus of course is our example in this. Christmas pictures for us the great lengths that God will go to secure our highest good. Why else would God dress up like a human, and walk our fragmented world. 11/30/11 Conversations Within ts (Birmingham, AL)
