I believe Heaven is a real place but I also believe it is a state of mind-an attitude. If we are not made into different people, people who possess this attitude, then it will not matter how beautiful Heaven is, we will not be happy there without it. We must be different not just moved to a different place. This surely means that we can experience something of Heaven in the here and now if we adjust our attitude accordingly. What attitude is that? Jesus embodied it. In short the right attitude is to be inclined to hear what God expects of us each moment, ask His help to do it and to find our delight in it. This is why we ask Jesus into our heart. The very act of doing so says, “Not my will but your will be done.” Conversations Within ts 3/12/2012 (Jax, FL)
