“You too, be patient…” James 5.8 NIV

I think some of us are waiting for God to teach us patience when all the while God simply waits on us to practice it. It only makes sense that if we are told to be patient, that doing so is a matter choice. Can we not choose to wait without complaint or stick with the tasks assigned to us until they finished, or endure whatever God asks from us knowing He will not put more on us than we can handle, at least handle with His help. Like all virtues, patience involves choice, even if the required choice is to wait. 9/2/2009 Conversations Within ts
