One year around Christmas, I was looking for an illustration to use in a message and came across a story about a little girl who picked up a bow and put it on her head. She ran up to her daddy who was reading in the next room and excitedly said, ‘Look Daddy, I’m a present.” I should think this a great way to live-not to have the opinion that we are God’s gift to others but to live in such a manner that they have found us to be.
