“He who would travel happily must travel light.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery

“To those who reside as aliens…” 1Pt.1.1 NASB

Father Abraham is said to have “made his home…like a stranger in a foreign country. All who profess faith in God are encouraged to adopt a similar approach to living. This is some of what Jesus meant when He said that we live in the world but are not of it. Brenda and I currently live in our homemade camper doing circuit ministry throughout the Southeast. We know what it means to set up home as we travel from campsite to campsite. Everything we set up must be taken down in a few weeks, so we are learning to travel light. And, while I am not advocating that all Christians take up the RV lifestyle, all of us are encouraged to find the balance of residing yet never fully residing in this place. 9/2/2009 Conversations Within ts
